Level 3

Level 3: English Mastery Program-  following CEFR English levels C1 and C2  

Duration

• One course is 16 hours total or equivalent to 1 month
• Each class is 2 hours long, twice a week, resulting in 4 hours a week.
• Classes are on Tuesday and Thursday, 13:00-15:00 pm
• Besides our class time, students are given homework and self study packages to improve their skills even more! This is all included in the class price, there are no additional fees!
• Homework will be submitted on our google classroom where teachers can track student's progress or answer any questions our students may have. 

At Longway Academy we understand the importance of building a solid foundation for our student's understanding. All materials used are from the British Curriculum including Oxford and Cambridge books which are recognized and accepted worldwide.

Besides the curriculum, all classes are taught by certified and experienced Native English speaking Teachers! 

 After Finishing 

Upon finishing the Level 3 English Mastery Program, students will be measured to see their progress and proficiency using the CEFR quiz provided by Cambridge English International Language Standards to move to the next level and course. 

Skills achieved after finishing the Level 2 course

The CEFR is divided into the following skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. The CEFR enables you to estimate your present language level.

C1-C2  aims to perfect the student’s ability to:

Listening: I can understand extended speech. I can easily understand television programs and films. I can understand with ease virtually everything I hear.

Reading: I can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts and recognize implicit meaning. I can understand papers and longer technical articles. I can understand with ease virtually everything I read (manuals, technical articles, literature etc.).

Speaking: I can express myself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. I can use language, flexibly and effectively for social, academic, and professional purposes. I can express myself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.

Writing: I can produce clear, well-structured, detailed texts on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors, and cohesive devices. I can summarize information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation.

Level Equivalent 

Our level 3 is equivalent to IELTS 7.5-9 and TOEFL IBT 90-118
