Level 1

Level 1: English Explorer’s Program -  following CEFR English levels  A1 and A2

Duration

• One course is 16 hours total or equivalent to 1 month
• Each class is 2 hours long, twice a week, resulting in 4 hours a week.
• Class times are Monday and Wednesday 10:00-12:00.
• Besides our class time, students are given homework and self study packages to improve their skills even more! 
• Homework will be submitted on our google classroom where teachers can track their progress or answer any questions our students may have.

Besides the curriculum, all classes are taught by certified and experienced Native English speaking Teachers! 

After Finishing 

Upon finishing the Level 1 English Explorer’s Program, students will be measured their progress and proficiency using the CEFR quiz provided by Cambridge English International Language Standards to move to the next level and course.

The CEFR is divided into the following skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. The CEFR enables you to estimate your present language level.

Pre A- A2 aims to perfect the student’s ability to:

Listening: I can understand familiar words and phrases provided when spoken slowly and clearly. I can understand the main points of simple notifications and announcements.

Reading: I can understand familiar names, words, and simple phrases on notices, posters etc. and can find specific information in simple everyday material (time table, menu etc.). I can understand short simple personal letters.

Speaking: I can interact in a simple way. I can introduce myself and others and answer questions about personal details. I can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.

Writing: I can write a short postcard and messages. I can fill in forms with personal details like name, address, and nationality.
